Community Recognition Fund 2024

On 15th March 2024, Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys and Minister of State Joe O’Brien, announced a further €50 million in funding under the Community Recognition Fund 2024.

Town Centre First Suite of Supports 2024 Measure 2 Town Centre First Plan Muinebheag, Co. Carlow

The Minister for Rural and Community Development has approved an allocation of €30,000 to complete a Town Centre First Plan for Muinebheag, Co. Carlow.

Tullow Road Community Hub Press Release

Carlow County Council welcomes and are delighted to receive approval from the Department of Rural and Community Development of grant funding of € 4,135,178 in respect of its application submitted under the Community Centres Investment Fund 2023 for the construction of a multi-functional community hub at Tullow Road Carlow. The overall cost of the project is €4,594,643 which Carlow County Carlow will match fund. It is anticipated that the construction of this project will commence in the 4th quarter of 2024.
