Through this scheme the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government provides support through capital funding for the delivery of housing accommodation.
This can be through the construction or acquisition of housing accommodation to cater for:
- homeless persons
- older people
- people with a disability
- other special priority needs
There is a particular emphasis on moving people with a disability from a congregated setting into community based living.
Applications for Carlow must be submitted to capitalhousing@carlowcoco.ie using a fully completed CAS 1 application and all associated documentation.
