Quintessentially Irish was described by the Mail as a "lush valentine to everything great and Irish" with a distinguished cast including the former 007, Pierce Brosnan, two Presidents, a Prince, a pop star and an unconventional Irish Lord. The film was partly shot in Carlow at beauty spots such as the Brownshill Dolmen, Milford and Borris where we meet the Oscar winning actor Jeremy Irons at the Borris Festival of Writing and Ideas. The film is directed by Carlow man Frank Mannion.
