The local authority provide a litter fine appeal process.

Litter Fine Appeal      

If you receive a fine for littering under the Litter Pollution Act 1997 you must either pay the fine or appeal it.

If you do not pay the fine or your appeal is unsuccessful the payment of the fine will be pursued through the courts.

How do I Pay a Litter Fine?

Payment of litter fines can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Credit card, Debit card, Cheque or Postal Order.

Cash should NOT be sent by post.
