National Heritage Week 2017

National Heritage Week is a celebration of nature, community and people. National Heritage Week 2017 will take place from 19-27 August. More than 30 events are registered with the Heritage Council by heritage enthusiasts in Carlow, including Carlow County Council, community groups and individuals. Exhibition - Jean Butler, Artish held an illustration workshop for children in February 2017 & with the help of Carlow Library Writer in Residence, John McKenna, each child produced a book about their experiences of growing up in Carlow.
